For once, I was glad Amira's around. Tamwar's secret was just going to carry on for ever, he's just too cowed to stand up to his mum. Her reaction was so reasonable it's obvious she has a secret of her own. Why does Zainab have to experience things herself before she can understand someone else's motives? She's so judgemental but not when it comes to debt, which she was in up to her neck, or when it comes to having to change plans because life has something else in store for you. If it wasn't for her secret, she'd have been shouting the odds at poor Tamwar.

I think they had every reason to be angry at Tamwar, even though it was mainly Syed and Masood who were angry and not Zainab. He should have told them the truth right at the start.
