Monday 17th August
This latest storyline of Dot's is just too silly for words. How can she overreact so badly to being expected to retire at 75 or whatever she is? She's lucky she was allowed to work till that age. Hasn't she got enough to do with that big house to clean, Dottie to look after and possibly Jim too? I can't feel sorry for her. I do like Liz though, much more than I originally did.
I hope Ronnie felt some shame when Joel's family turned up in the Vic. But probably not.

Re: Monday 17th August
Most people would be quite happy to retire at 75, or even 55
The doc was spot on about Bianca being a gobby cow
Like you Jo I quite liked Liz tonight.
I think Ronnie is more likely to have been embarrassed about being shown up in public, rather than care about Joel's family. Although Joel's wife was wrong to involve the kids in such a public display.

Re: Monday 17th August
I think that Joel is a serial cheat. It made no sense that if this was the first time he'd played away, within a day or two his wife is in the Vic with the children. It looked like Mrs. Joel (can't remember their surname) had played that card before, she was far too calm.
