Just some pics of flowers I took
Trying out the camera this afternoon, in between the rain.
I haven`t done much photography as you can tell.
I would have had them centred bit better, but it was hard in the blowy wind. :rofl:

The second one, I've seen something similar framed and it wasn't cheap. Lovely pics, lou.

The second one is really nice Lou.
Did you take them on auto settings or did you manually set the aperture?
If you took it on auto you should look for the macro setting, which should look something like this , this is used for taking close ups like these.
If you manually set the aperture then something like f8 will put more of it in focus, or normally if you're going for a sport focus on a flower using a wider aperture like f5.6 then you'd focus on the stigma rather than the petals.

I think it was on Macro, with auto, the light wasn`t too good, still got to get to grips with it.
Think I`ll have a play about again tomorrow, with those settings you mentioned Lou.
