I do agree with Steve and it was wonderful to see him defending Becky to the extent of banning his mother from the wedding. Her snobbish attitude towards Becky has been appalling and I usually like Liz. Now what I'm hoping for is that the wedding goes off, they both turn up, and they defy everyone by living happy ever after. I know in soapland happy marriages = dull but it would be nice to see it happen, especially when the union seems doomed from the start.

I loved Becky's group hug with "Hales and Royston" and Roy flinching away. What a brilliant character Roy is, we're never allowed to forget his odd ways and the lack of affection throughout his life (until Hayley) which makes him shy away from human contact. Hayley leaning into the hug and Roy barely enduring it, brilliant characterisation.

Yup I'm glad Steve told Liz were to go, how she had the nerve to have tears in her eyes is beyond me, she's been vile to Becky since they got together.

It`s good he put Becky first, I know what MIL can be like
