I was thinking that the actress playing Julie's mum looked too young for the part, only to find out she's only 14 years older than her daughter. This could be quite interesting if it turns out she got pregnant to a teacher, then they bring John Stape back.

I just realised the actor playing Luke is the same one who was Vince in "Queer as Folk". I didn't recognise him at first.

I haven't seen much of Corrie lately but the actress who played Ken Barlow's girlfriend Denise was Vince's mum in Queer as Folk.
