I thought Ken was a bit harsh tonight, he could have waited to see how Peter got on with the bookies before immediately condemning it as a failure. Like Peter said he could have spent the money on himself, at least this way if the bookies does well he's got something to leave his son.

I think it was a good idea, at least he trying show he`s a responsible person.

I don't know why Ken was so upset, it's what I'd have done in Peter's position. The boy who plays Simon is so cute and I like his scenes with Blanche. But I didn't understand what she meant when she told Ken she would help to look after the boy because blood matters to her. She's not a blood relative to Simon.
