Infanticide

Leah Andrew, who killed her newborn son in Crete, fills me with horror. She must have lost her mind and probably deserves our sympathy, but all I can think of is that tiny little boy she throttled to death. God help him.

I havent really seen anything apart from the barest outline of what happened.

Was she trying to keep the baby secret, or did people know she was pregnant? If it was the latter then I'd say she had to have been mentally disturbed in some way. But if she was trying to keep it secret the first thing that springs to mind for me is that she just selfishly killed the poor boy just to keep her own social life.
