Gangs

There's a lot in the news today about gangs, because there's a new book out Gangs:A Parents Guide.

I must admit its one thing that terrifies me, watching Ross Kemp on Gangs probably doesnt help ! But the mentality of the kids in gangs is frightening, they think nothing of gang rape or stabbing.

We're lucky that we live in a little backwater, but there are still areas of town that people avoid and its frightening to think that one day this gang culture will reach us. I just hope my kids are too old to be interested by the time that happens. Because it doesnt matter how well you bring them up, once they are in school peer pressure takes over and mum becomes boring whilst other people are daring and exciting.
