What a wimp Ken is, he could at least have had the decency to say goodbye Peter was right, if a bit hypocritical, he's hardly a paragon of virtue himself.

I still don't like the new family, especially the father.

I don't know what Ken's playing at. I loved all the contrasts, even his meal on the boat with Martha. Something healthy and home made, accompanied by salad, and its contrasts with Deirdre's promise of chicken kievs for tea. Corrie is just brilliant at this kind of thing. As for Ken, his behaviour is disgusting. I could almost understand why he left Deirdre. Not that I approve, but I could understand. He's met the woman of his dreams, Deirdre's superior in every way that counts with Ken, intellectually and creatively. And just as he couldn't face Deirdre and tell her the truth, he couldn't face Martha either. What a wimp.
