Amy Winehouse is now rumoured to be wanting to adopt a St Lucian child.

This follows the news that her estranged husband Blake Fielder-Civil is expecting a child with a woman he met in rehab.

The 25-year-old songstress has told friends that she would like to live on the Caribbean island permanently.

A source in the Sunday Mail says that, "Amy is seriously thinking about adopting. But she is aware it's going to be incredibly difficult with her background."

They continue, "Amy's gutted about Blake becoming a dad and moving on so quickly. She has always wanted to be a mother. She loves St Lucia and would move there for good in order to adopt."

Amy's spokesman denies this, saying that she was talking about adoption in a different context, perhaps within a music or education-outreach project.

So, she's using the two brain cells that haven't been addled by drink and drugs to figure out that "it's going to be incredibly difficult with her background". That's optimistic, I can't think of any country that would hand over a child to this stupid woman. She makes Madonna look like a good candidate for adoption, at least Madonna could be trusted to feed her kids. Winehouse can't even look after herself.

She definitely couldn't bring the baby back to Britain, the social workers would take it away from her. She's such a mess.

How on earth would anyone consider her, as parent material.

She can`t look after her self.
