I have to say I didn't really watch with full attention tonight.

So Patrick has forgotten all about his marriage with the snapping of a fan and moving a couch

Did I hear Phil chuckling as he was coming in the back door with the dog

I knew Phil was going to love Gumbo after all his complaining at Suzy's idea of what a dog should be. Can't really blame Bradley for wanting rid though, Gumbo would cost a fortune to feed.

Patrick's attitude to his broken marriage made no sense. He loves Yolande and she loves him, and no amount of new friends or spinning classes will take the place of a much-loved husband. If Yolande had to go, they could have given her a more credible exit storyline than this.

I don't understand why Billy is so nice to Janine or so protective of her. He didn't want to let Jack out of the handcuffs in case he hurt Janine? The woman who made Jay out to be a thief? The writers need to pay more attention and decide whether Billy can ever be a father substitute for Jay. Since he apparently cares so little, it looks like "NO".

I think Phil has an affinity with Gumbo because,(dare I say it), they are both big jowley beasts.

They do have a definite similarity

Personally, I find Gumbo more attractive than Phil.
