Hands On Royal Empty Hands On Royal

FERGIE’s daughter Princess Beatrice wants to be a “hands-on” Royal — not somebody who just goes around cutting ribbons.

She said yesterday she was very lucky to have her mother as an “incredible role model” and hoped to emulate her as the “foghorn for forgotten whispers”.

It followed a screening of a TV probe into the plight of orphans in Romania and Turkey by herself, sister Eugenie and the Duchess of York.

Beatrice said she saw herself “getting out there and doing a lot more hands-on things”.

Of her mum she said: “I’ve had an upbringing from someone who’s been out there on the front lines and been doing this for a very long time.”

Duchess And Daughters: Their Secret Mission is at 9pm on ITV1 tonight. A follow-up programme will be screened tomorrow at 8pm

I must admit, I've never been a huge royal fan (couldnt stand Diana at all :vomit: ), but they do seem to be improving of late, and doing a bit more to help the average Joe.

"The Universe is so big, and we are so small. The only thing we can truly control is whether we are good or evil."

I'm not a big fan of the royal family.
