I don't understand why Shirley is so stupid when it comes to Phil. He helped her out one time, during her cancer scare, but since then he's treated her like dirt, told her she's rubbish in bed, sacked her from the Vic and been anything but a friend to her. So she risks her own freedom by giving him an alibi because she's like a teenage girl who'll do anything to please the "boyfriend" and make him like her.

I do feel sorry for Darren. He's trying, in his own immature way, to do the right thing by baby George.

I agree, Shirley owes Phil nothing, and it's not like they were in a long relationship and she still has feelings for him, they've slept together a couple of times whilst Phil was drunk and that was it.

I wonder how authentic the wedding party thingy was. It was nice to see a bit of culture in the square for a change.

I reckon the blood on Phil's shirt was from when he was bashing around in the Arches drunk, I bet he cut himself somehow.
