I hope this isn't Mo trying to sort out Charlie's lovelife by texting Brenda.

Brenda's one of the strangest characters in the show. She's not really in it enough to be of any interest, but they keep dragging her back every now and then because they can't think of anything else to do with Charlie.

It must be a huge problem, trying to make Charlie interesting :rofl:

IMO he works better as a background character, just someone to look out for Stacey really. I don't think anyone cares enough to want Charlie to have a storyline of his own. But then I think that about Mo and she keeps getting storylines, even if they're silly ones like the pig or the walkout of Ian's caff.

I wonder if there wasn`t any Stacey, would they keep them in at all.

They are quite boring characters now.

PEGGY:Go to your room!

BILLY:Go in the kitchen. Go on. Get. Peggy, I dunno what came over him.

PEGGY:Has he been helping himself to the booze?

Another scene of Peggy picking on Jay? She conveniently forgets her own sons were no angels. I wish Billy would defend Jay sometimes instead of always taking Peggy's side.

Trouble is, Billy is desperate to be accepted as a 'real' Mitchell, but he never will be.

Dr Al:I need rescuing.

You could be right there, although I can't see Syed and Christian lasting, even if Mas and Zainab accepted it.

It can't be that Zainab has found out Syed's little secret, they'd surely milk it for longer than that. And Zainab is such a drama queen, always making mountains out of molehills, it could be something fairly minor that's upsetting her.

I can't see it being the secret, I'm betting on that being a Christmas reveal storyline. Or it'll all come out on the wedding day.

Janine, modest as ever I've never got the impression Archie fancied her at all, I hope nothing's changed there.

I wonder if Janine is working as a bona fide employee of Archie, or just doing some more cash-in-hand spying for him? I have a feeling Archie will buy Ronnie out of the club and Janine will work there.
