Thursday 4th Dec
I missed the first half, so didnt see why Roxy fled the hospital. I saw Shirley talking to her, although I'm not sure Shirley regrets leaving her kids, she never tried very hard to make it up to them when she had the chance, she was still too busy trying to bed every man who walked past.
I missed the first bit of the visit between Jack and Jim too, from what I saw Jack wasnt particularly nice to Jim considering he's supposed to be the favoured son, or was it that Max just thought he was the favourite and in fact they were treated the same?

Two unexpected things in one eppy? The writers have excelled themselves. I was really surprised to see Jim, I didn't know he was appearing in tonight's eppy. And Suzy has kids! I thought the writers had forgotten, but it was just so typical Suzy to dismiss them the way she did. What is she, some kind of wild animal who kicks her young out when they can fend for themselves and never sees them again? She's the most dysfunctional of all the Brannings, at least the others show a bit of interest in their children.
Lou, Roxy fled from the hospital because Amy had to undergo a procedure to re-inflate her lung, and Roxy "can't take any more". The selfish mare. What kind of mother would want to be anywhere other than at their child's bedside when she's so poorly. Sean stayed, showing which of them is the stronger parent.
As for Jim and Jack, he definitely wasn't very nice to his old dad. But I think Jack's drowning in self pity at the moment, it's another Branning trait, Max has the same problem. Life has just got too much for Jack, dumped by Tanya, unable to live in his own home, a baby that might be his struggling to live, so he blamed Jim for everything, for the upbringing that made him and Max turn out the way they did. Apparently Jim was always pitting them against each other.
