Typo
A publisher is reprinting 7,000 cookbooks after a mistake which gave a recipe for pasta with "salt and freshly ground black people".
Penguin Group Australia's head of publishing, Bob Sessions, said the proof reader should have caught the "silly mistake".
He told The Sydney Morning Herald: "We're mortified that this has become an issue of any kind and why anyone would be offended, we don't know."
The typo was in the Pasta Bible recipe for tagliatelle with sardines and prosciutto.
Mr Sessions said the publisher would replace the book for any buyer "small-minded enough" to complain. The reprinting will cost £12,000.
I can't imagine anyone taking offence at that. They're more likely to feel sorry for the proof reader who must be mortified

Re: Typo
That made me laugh, aww the poor proof reader he's going to get some stick for that one. But really if any one takes offence they really need a sense of humour
