Hmm, the plot thickens :hmm:

I am back to thinking it was Lauren again, or possibly Lauren and Peter running away together, saw the car, nicked it, hit Max by accident, panicked and drove off.

Lauren is the only one of those that were in the frame tonight that Tanya would go to prison for. She might love Jack but she wouldn't leave her children parentless for him, nor would she do it for Bradley, he's a big boy who can take care of himself, plus she's not even related to Bradley.

Nice little scenes with Heather, Shirley and Ben. What a pity they're ruining Phil by pairing him up with Suzy Rolling Eyes

And talking of Suzy, why on earth would Tanya phone her? She's not her family, Jack, Bradley, Bianca etc are all family it was up to them to phone her not Tanya.

It's definitely not Tanya, it can't be.

No its far too obvious to be Tanya. Plus Lauren wasnt accusatory in any way.

I agree, usually I think they're all pretty okay actors (with the exception of a couple, Suzy springs to mind!), but the last few episodes have shown Jo Joyner at her best, much better than Christmas IMO.

Phil is supposed to be Max's friend, isn't he? He couldn't have cared less that his mate was in hospital seriously injured. He didn't even give Suzy a lift to the hozzy, he was more concerned with Ben's cake. Laughing

I thought Suzy had a nerve to talk to Tanya like that. She hadn't seen Max in years, had no interest in him, and suddenly it's "he's my brother!"? It's quite funny that out of the whole family, not one of them gave Suzy a second thought when Max was injured, not Tanya, not Jack, not Suzy's nieces, not even Dot. Jim was informed, but nobody picked up the phone to let Suzy know. I think that says a lot about Suzy's place in the Branning hierarchy.

I love Shirley to bits but if she'd given her own children half the time and attention she gives to Ben, she'd have been more worthy of the name "mother". Maybe this is her way of making up for things? She can't make it up to her own kids, they won't let her, so she's taken poor motherless Ben under her wing? I'd like to think that's the reason but it's more likely to be Shirley's way of reaching Phil.

The Beales were just boring. Those scenes with the talent scout were embarrassingly bad.
