Bit of a filler episode.

Cant think of anything of great interest that stood out, Stacey was miserable as usual, Ian was weasely as usual, Roxy was ditzy as usual, and Sean was good looking as usual Laughing

What was that copper on, calling Max daddy to Abi, jeez how old is she, 2 Shocked

Why are the police always portrayed so badly in EE? In all the soaps really but EE seems to have a real down on the profession. They're either idiots (they forgot all about the gun Jane was shot with) or they're bullies. DI Keeble has to be the most unprofessional DI in Met history. She spent the whole eppy sneering and getting everyone's back up. She would never have made that crack to Tanya about Jack having a special goodbye with Ronnie. What was her problem with Abi? The girl told her the first she knew of the car was when she heard the bang and saw Max on the road, with the car driving away from her. Yet DI Keeble kept on and on at her. Her attitude to Dot was incredible and the way she sneered at Bradley was just silly. She even had the obligatory sidekick who laughed at her jokes. I thought, from what Turner said to Jack, that this was a very professional police officer who played by the rules but was hard at the same time. She came across as a bully, completely unlikeable.

I loved Sean's line to Archie "what did the grumpy old man say when he heard his daughter was moving out?" Laughing It's about time Roxy cut the apron strings. For all she moaned about Ronnie being controlling, she really can't get her life sorted. She's acting more like 16 than 30, whining that she's going to need her whole family to help once the baby is born.

Typical of Peggy, going on about how great Suzy is with Ben. That woman is just amazing, she never sees what's going on under her nose.

Yeah the police in EE are super efficient at first glance, they get to the scene of the crime almost before it happens sometimes, but then the follow up all follow the same stereotype No

I'm pretty sure that 99% of interviews are done in the station now anyway, appointments are made so people can go in at their convenience or at the convenience of the appropriate adult Rolling Eyes

I actually watched this episode - the first for many months. And, by golly was it rubbish? I couldn't believe they had Jane doing a stand-up comedy routine........actually I can believe it because it's just the sort of nonsensical storyline that EE comes up with nowadays. What was even more predictable though was that Ian was the butt of the jokes. As for the Jack/Tanya/Bradley/Stacey/Max whodunnit yawnfest I couldn't care less. Bradley hasn't, erm, heh, changed has he? Except for the revolting stubbly face. I suppose, from his attitude, that they are trying to make him look battle weary and wordly wise.............heh.

I must admit, I cant wait until the Brannings take a back seat. Even the Beales who've been the mainstay of EE since the outset have had a break from major storylines recently (until the comedy story).

Bring on the Masoods in a decent storyline.
