Olympic Games

Post by Lou on Sat Aug 16, 2008 3:52 am

I've only caught little bits here and there so far, because they weather has been so bad the kids have been in and watching the TV.

But today I managed to watch the coxless 4's and what an amazing race, certainly gets your heart pumping, so god knows what its like for those people involved

I'm looking forward to watching the athletics next week.

Who'd have thought that Britain would ever be third in the medals table

Well I enjoyed every minute I saw of the Olympics, granted that was next to nothing in the first week since the weather was so bad, the kids were in and using the tv (god knows why they have one each in their rooms, they never get turned on Rolling Eyes).

I hope London can manage something half as good. The BBC coverage was excellent, and after the farce ITV turned F1 into, I hope the BBC never lose the rights to the Olympics, it would be an absolute travesty.
