Did anyone else watch this last night? Trinny Woodall emptied the contents of a ladies commode into the kitchen sink!

I saw that, I'm sure the old lady meant for her to flush it down the toilet Sad I don't know why I watch these programmes because they make me so mad. There are some people who are mentally ill and can't cope, but there's no reason for any of those families to live in the squalor they were living in. Years ago 6 of more children in a family was commonplace, but houses were kept clean, and they didn't have the benefit of automatic washing machines and other labour saving gadgets then. So then all single mums get tarred with the same brush Sad

I agree Lou. I was brought up on a council estate and I never saw anybody's house in the state some of those were in. Although people had very little money and it was sometimes impossible to make ends meet, people still took pride in their appearance and the state of their homes. We had no carpets, just lino. We were always cold in the winter, especially going to bed as there was no heating upstairs, just hot water bottles.

The difference was, we didn't expect everything for nothing from the government (taxpayer). We went to school every day, knowing that an education was neccessary. A lot of kids now think they don't need educating. They're quite happy with their cider and cigs sitting on a wall with their mates. They have absolutely no aspirations but when you look at some of the parents, I can understand why.

I can't believe Trinny emptied that commode into the same place they wash their dishes. That was absolutely disgusting. I was very puzzled about that disabled lady. How could she possibly claim to be on the breadline when she goes to bingo three times a week at £16 a time (unless I misheard and it was £6)? Then follows it with having her lunch out, OK it was only £5 but that's £15 a week. And another £5 for the slot machine. I couldn't afford that every week and I don't claim to be on the breadline.

I agree with what's been said about the lack of cleanliness. No excuse for it.
