I was waiting to see Ian start gloating about Phil's financial affairs, he'll probably wait until he's actually got the Vic before he does that. And little Bobby looks like a chip off the old block, bullying people like that. But wanting his mum, that's realistic. What's not realistic is that it's taken him about two weeks to notice she's not there.

It's not realistic that Ian seems to be coping either, not so long ago Jane was rushed off her feet, trying to do the cafe, the chippy, Masala Queen and take care of the kids, yet Ian seems to be doing all that without any help Rolling Eyes

I was surprised Ian didn't gloat, like you say Jo, he'll be saving it up.

It's certainly a mystery how Ian isn't missing Jane's contribution to his businesses. There hasn't even been any mention of him having to pay Bianca or his other employees extra to cover for Jane.
