What was Ian like? I'm glad Mas's comment struck home about him sitting in the hot tub all by himself. Even his children wanted nothing to do with it. I don't know much about hot tubs but I can't imagine it would be very comfortable in a London November.

Isn't Peggy just awful? She's on and on at Phil to "sort it", then when he does so by selling the Arches to Pat, he still hasn't done the right thing. Pat said something about releasing some of the equity in her house, so it must have been fully paid for when Andy bequeathed it to her. But surely a thriving business in London would cost as much as Pat's house, so releasing "some" equity makes it look like she also has hundreds of thousands in the bank to make up the rest. I can never really understand the finances of the EE characters. We've heard no more about the Masoods debts, and I don't know why Phil, with two lucrative businesses, had to go to a loan shark instead of a bank. And Max, I don't understand him at all.
