I enjoyed the eppy. Max is still trying to seduce Ronnie but I don't think he's going to manage it cos she's onto him. If they end up together it'll be because it's what she wants. Archie's good though, he's now got everyone on his side.
Was that Tracy's longest dialogue ever? Interesting to know she's quietly keeping an eye on everyone and I think she was right about Peggy. That mention of Jack (Edwards not Branning. Ew) was so true, Peggy had a good 'un there and let him go.
How could Ian Beale be so proud of himself? He's a horrible horrible little man and I was disappointed at Peter's reaction. I was hoping that he'd behave more like Ben has and stand up to his dad and make him mend his ways. Don't know if Phil really will mend his ways but at least he's trying to treat Ben with a bit of respect now. Too bad Ian can't do the same with Peter.

Re: Thursday, 7th August
I think Max and Ronnie would be quite a good couple. Ronnie's suspicious enough to not put up with his bullcrap all the time, and in my mind at least, he's got more capacity for intimacy than Jack. I think Ronnie would be able to keep Max in line. I liked her comment about how Tanya must have imagined him and Stacey together in the same way as he's imagining Jack and Tanya together. Ronnie's not letting him off the hook for what he did, but she's also not behaving like he deserves to have the same thing happen to him. I could easily see the two of them getting together.

Re: Thursday, 7th August
I agree Ronnie wouldn't put up with any nonsense from Max but I think he's the last thing she needs right now. She's smart enough to know he just wants to use her to get back at Tanya, that's why she's fending him off all the time. Last night's eppy proved he really didn't care about her problems when she told him about her family and his reply was "what can I say?" then he went back to talking about his own problems again. Ronnie is wounded and let down by everyone she cares about, she needs someone to lean on but Max is too interested in his own worries.

I am *so* glad Clare is gone. What a waste of space. I hated the way they decided to make her all deep and meaningful just as she's going. I wish they'd give viewers credit.

There was no way of saving Clare and in my opinion it was silly to have her leave that way. What was the point of making us feel sorry for her now when she's been so awful all along?

Re: Thursday, 7th August
Just saw this episode, another black cab exit What a hypocrite Max is, banging on about how he imagines Jack and Tanya in bed together, yet all of his marriage he's left Tanya with those same thoughts. I hope there will be widespread condemnation of Max's plotting to kill either his wife or his brother as there was for Tanya plotting to kill Max.

I hope so too because I dont have sympathy for Max at all.

Re: Thursday, 7th August
Me neither. Okay being buried alive was not nice at all, and I have sympathy for him there. But it doesnt wipe out all the things he's done, he destroyed an entire family, in fact two families because he drove a wedge through his tentative relationship with Bradley again.
Re: Thursday, 7th August
If you read posts by certain people you'll see that everything bad Max did now counts for nothing and the slate has been wiped clean by the burial. Er no not really. Max is still a loser and deserves to be.
