Boy A
I've just seen an advert for Boy A on More 4 at 9 o'clock tonight. I saw it a few months back, and thought it was excellent. Its a story about a boy who killed another child when he was 10 and has just been released aged 18 (kind of reminiscent of Thompson and Venables), no gratuitous sex or violence, just a well written drama.
Re: Boy A
Another forum I was posting on had a huge thread on "could you go on living with your partner if you discovered they'd murdered another child at the age of ten?" Like the James Bulgar case, as Lou says.
It's a big question, isn't it?
It was a really good drama though and the lead actor was so good in it.

Re: Boy A
My first reaction would be, no way, there's no way you could live with someone who'd done that.
But then watching the drama I kinda felt a bit sorry for him toward the end when the press were hounding him. It was obvious he'd been dragged into the situation, and he was a completely different person then to the adult who left prison.
But I still think no matter how sorry I felt for him once I knew he'd done something like that I'd have to walk away, because it'd always be nagging at the back of your mind.
