Britain's longest lasting marriage ends after 81 years

The husband has passed away holding his wife's hand, both aged 101. Their son is 76. What an amazing achievement to have been married all those years, and how lucky is the son to have both his parents around at his age? We celebrated our 20th anniversary earlier this year thinking that was an achievement, but compared to this it's a drop in the ocean.

I think it's beautiful. Unfortunately, the widow will probably go soon too but it's a fitting end for them.
