Post early for Christmas
Police are investigating after a number of shops were targeted in a campaign to stop them selling Christmas cards early.
Three charity shops and a newsagent in Headingley, Leeds, have received letters threatening attacks on their premises if they put cards on sale before November 1.
It's not funny to threaten anybody but I had to smile at this. I know quite a few people who rage every year about the early appearance of Christmas goods in the shops. It doesn't bother me at all, I prefer to start shopping early and spread the cost but I can understand how a lot of people don't want to see Christmas cards or get Christmas stuff through the post months beforehand.

Re: Post early for Christmas
I think it's awful to dictate to people when they can and can't display seasonal items. If nobody wanted to buy Christmas things quite far in advance the shops wouldn't display them. There must be a demand for them so the people who object to it should just keep quiet or shop elsewhere.

Re: Post early for Christmas
Some people buy their Christmas cards in January
Christmas rage, I wonder if that's going to be a new disease lol.

A lot cheaper if you buy in Jan, think I might have bought a box then.
