Friday 8th May
Why would anyone throw a perfectly good mobile phone in a waste bin Surely you'd just get a new SIM card.
Drunken Phil is getting boring now, the groping on the couch nearly made me lose my dinner :vomit:
Weasel Ian is back again Although knowing the Mitchells they'll probably try and get out of paying!

Ronnie's fond of dramatic gestures. Throwing her phone away was so unnecessary but then so was storming out of the church in Thursday's episode.
I'm hoping that Shirley's tearfulness means she's finally realising how little she means to Phil. I really hope so because it makes uncomfortable viewing. If the genders were the other way around, there would be complaints about having to get your partner drunk so they'll have sex with you. But that's exactly what Shirley's doing with Phil. Sober, he doesn't want her and she knows it.
Why did Peggy have that ridiculous lei around her neck? I know they put these things on you at the airport, but did she really wear it all through her flight? Or did she put it aside, then put it on again when she got to London? That doesn't seem likely, considering how she and Phil parted and that she didn't really know what to expect when she walked back into the Vic. It was such a silly plot driven device to remind us that she'd been on holiday. We should be glad she wasn't wearing a sombrero.

Re: Friday 8th May
I absolutely loved Phil telling Peggy to shut up. So glad someone did, it was long overdue. I don't like the way Shirley is now. She's always been in control where men are concerned, using them and dumping them when it suits her. There's really nothing special about Phil that deserves this kind of devotion. I'd like to see her with a decent man.
