I thought the boat thing with Joe was going to be boring but I'm just so grateful it's taken over from the Kevin and Molly "love affair". I cannot bear to see her stupid expression as she looks coyly up at Kevin and bats her eyelashes at him.

I do like Roy though. He is such an odd man but decent. But I still don't understand why he's so certain of what Tony did, Hayley's given him all the excuses we've already discussed here and they're perfectly valid. For Roy to stick to ...

What a sad tale this is

The High Court is due to hear the heartbreaking case of a child known as Baby RB. He and his family cannot be named for legal reasons.

Baby RB was born last year with a rare neuromuscular condition which means he relies on a ventilator to survive. His doting parents have been with him since his birth, although they have had an amicable separation from one another.

Whilst both parents clearly adore their son, they have different opinions on what would be ...

Is it wrong to have no sympathy for the victim of a mugging? I wasn't the least bit sorry to see Lucy unconscious on the ground. Jay seemed to regret it though, he looked very guilty.

Why should Billy have rejected Archie's offer of a room? I was so pleased when it finally dawned on him that if Peggy didn't owe him a job, he didn't owe her any family loyalty. Archie was so right, they preach family when it suits them but don't exactly rally round when a familly member is on his uppers.

Ian is just as much a brat as Lucy, he couldn't give a damn about Jane at all, surely even he can see how depressed she is.

Not surprising she's turned to Masood, but I thought he had bit more about him, what a shame that they have to ruin every character by not giving them any morals at all.

Talking of Masood, would you really just wander into someone elses house? I know I wouldn't, not even my best friends house, if they didn't answer when I knocked I'd come back later.

Why am I actually beginning to feel sorry for Tony? He doesn't deserve any sympathy but I think he's been made more realistic now that he has a guilty conscience. He's still crafty though and I'll miss him when he's gone.

Has Carla gone for good? I was really surprised when she left, I thought she was going to be a regular cast member again. I really don't like her though. It wasn't justice for Liam she wanted, it was the factory. She's nasty and made a good partnership with Rosie ...

A 10-year-old boy accidentally hanged himself while playing on a rope swing, police said.

The schoolboy had been playing on ropes, which were hanging from trees, in Hutton Woods, near Boosbeck, Cleveland, on Saturday night.

The circumstances of exactly how the boy came to be trapped are still being investigated by Cleveland Police, but officers are treating it as a tragic accident.

Local councillor Peter Spencer, who represents Hutton ward on Redcar and Cleveland Council, said the community ...

The baby and children have been taken away from their 23st mother due to obesity scares. This story horrifies me. To take away a day old baby from it's mother, (not to mention the other children), is unbelievably cruel. I appreciate there are health concerns and the parents have been offered help, but I think thiis decision is totally wrong. How about removing the children of drug addicts, alcoholics etc.

I must have slept through some of the recent episodes because I didn't know Roxy was going away. Not another holiday, surely? How can a part-time barmaid afford to go away so often? And why would she leave her phone with Phil? What nonsense, Roxy's the type who's never more than six inches from her phone and suddenly she can go away and leave it at home? And why was Phil being so stupid about Jack's message to give Amy a kiss? Phil's known to be sentimental about children so to see him ...

I wonder why Janine was crying real tears. She seems to regret the way she treated Frank and it looks like she's seeing Archie as a father-substitute and was genuinely worried about his health. But that can't be, if she's still planning to rip him off. What I don't understand is how she thinks she can get away with it. Archie is a master at what he does and although Janine's a good pupil she's nowhere near his level. And Ryan is just a joke.

Here is a little tip for any would-be burglars out there. If you get lost while trying to flee the scene of a crime, DO NOT stop a police patrol car and ask for directions.

You may think it goes without saying, but apparently not for a pair of dumb crooks in Germany who did exactly this after breaking in to three car dealerships and a construction site.

The men aged 20 and 28, were heading for the Czech Republic after carrying out the raids in Saxony, Germany -- but in their heady post ...

I love that side of Janine, I hope they never make her nice. I was a bit puzzled though when Phil thought Sam would appreciate them once she learned what life was like without them. She's been without them for years, that's the whole point of the story since she came back.

It was so obvious Ronnie wasn't going to be pregnant. I wonder if the actress was embarrassed by such a silly plot. All she had to do in this episode was wear a huge grin then, finding out the truth, first cry then look shocked. Is it some kind of strange east London tradition to celebrate an unconfirmed pregnancy? The congratulations were a little premature.

The regulator stressed that people who baby-sit for one another's children for more than two hours at a time or for more than 14 days per year should be registered.

This applies where parents receive a "reward" for the childcare - which can include money or simply free baby-sitting in return.

I've really enjoyed this week, Helen Flanagan has been so good as Rosie. I absolutely loved Luke commenting on her Bela Lugosi look when she'd been crying and her mascara was all smudged, and Rosie thinking it was a compliment and asking if "lugosi" is Italian for eyes. Absolutely wonderful. And Sophie telling her she's gorgeous and Rosie saying "I know". The character is so totally unlikeable and I'm horrible enough to enjoy it when bad things happen to her.
