Friday 30th Oct

Post by Lou on Fri Oct 30, 2009 11:34 pm

Another episode I didn't really watch. TBH I couldn't care less about one Neanderthal man getting one over on another, whether it's Lucas or Owen, Jack or Archie.

Poor Ricky though, he's so deluded No

The whack that Lucas gave Owen right in the stomach, after that big dinner, he's lucky he didn't get another look at it, all over the ground. No

Owen's retaliation was unexpected though. Is he really trying to do the right thing, for once?

Shirley's horror at realising Darren was the dad, I don't blame her. It makes me feel quite ill. Judging from Darren, he feels the same way.

It really annoys me that once again the Christian character is a nutcase. Why, for once, can't we actually have a Christian who behaves like a Christian? For the record, that doesn't mean all po-faced and spouting the scriptures like Dot, it just means behaving in a moral fashion and it doesn't have to be boring.

But it looks like the writers are picking on Muslims too. The Masoods are a religious family, but Zainab is ridiculously judgemental. And now we're going to have the happily married Masood sharing a kiss with Jane, which goes against every rule he lives his life by.

I thought that as well when Lucas started spouting the scriptures, apart from RE lessons at school I've never heard anyone quote the bible Rolling Eyes
